For one thing, it is not enough to wipe off the chain with a cloth before lubrication, because the friction "plays" mainly in the interior of a chain and the dirt deposits itself here. On the other hand, it is not enough to clean only the chain, but best still the pinion packages (rear / front) and the wheels of the circuit! Especially here, the not removed dirt builds up. Some take special cleaners, a chain cleaning device or immediately remove the chain / pinion and put this for example in diesel. Of course, these types of cleaning each have its advantages and disadvantages. Our philosophy: cleaning and lubricating in one operation!
The 106 KETTENFLUID PLUS consists of a combination of solvents (cleaning-active and high-penetration) and our additive, which is homogeneously incorporated into the solvent. In the original state, the additive would be too viscous to penetrate into the critical areas of the inner chain bearings and supply them with lubricant. In addition to its role as a carrier, it also takes care of cleaning as a solvent combination. It rinses old gummy substances, dust and dirt from and out of the chain. The solvent evaporates leaving behind a thin film of lubricant on and in the chain (where it belongs).

It is difficult to compare the 106 KETTENFLUID PLUS with other chain oils because most users focus on lubrication only. The chain is rarely really clean.
