202 DISC CLEANER

Introducing our Disc Cleaner and rapid degreaser! Here you are purchasing a genuine, tried-and-tested industrial product, which of course we also offer to consumers. Why do you need something like this? Well, first and foremost to keep the most important components on your bike in perfect condition and to clean them effectively. Its characteristic product features are a powerful spray jet, which always "hits the spot", and the evaporation effect. Cleaning is carried out without leaving any residues, and the treated component is not only clean but also free from grease.

But first things first, starting with the special 4-fold formula with which we have designed our Disc Cleaner. Moisture is dispelled and you can remove dirt from chains, sprockets, gearshift systems and, of course, the brakes. Simple, efficient and impressive.

We'll be happy to explain what we mean by 4-fold formula. We spent a long time experimenting in our laboratory and came up with a real dream team consisting of alcohol (2-propanol), acetone (2-propanone) and special petrol (hydrocarbons). In addition, there is a small amount of CO2 as a propellant, but only about two to three per cent. The individual components each account for about one third of the mixture and all have their own special role to play.

As a classic solvent and extracting agent, acetone is of course a must - in a finely calculated dosage. When it comes to removing grease, oil or resin you can't do without this substance, although in our Disc Cleaner we use a precisely limited quantity. The result is grease-free surfaces.

Our trio of active ingredients is completed by special petrol, which removes oil and grease and evaporates quickly. This has the advantage that there is no need for follow-up treatment.

We generate sufficient pressure with CO2, a propellant gas that is fortunately non-flammable. So you are on the safe side, and you don't need a lot of CO2 to do the job with pinpoint accuracy.

Feel like learning a bit more about chemistry? Then we can reveal that the combination of alcohol, petrol and acetone we have chosen produces perfect corrosion protection with a pH value of 7. As long as you apply them to your chain, brake or gears the protection will be there and of course you can - and should - follow up with one of our lubricants afterwards.

A further advantage is the economical dosage: you don't need much of our Disc Cleaner and a single can goes a long way.

The correct handling

Step-by-step instructions

In case of heavy soiling, first roughly clean the bike with a strong jet of water.
Apply 202 Disc Cleaner generously or, if necessary, spray on specific areas.
Remove dirt with a cloth. Job done!
Test for material compatibility on an inconspicuous area beforehand.
After cleaning, relubricate the chain and gearshift system with innobike 105 HIGH TECH CHAIN FLUID or 106 CHAIN FLUID PLUS
